Dr. Rico J. Cabangon delivered at the 42nd Philippine Business Conference and Expo his presentation titled "Bamboo Processing Technologies and Livelihood Opportunities" which featured the DOST-FPRDI kiln dryer, Do-It-Yourself bamboo shelter, engineered bamboo products, modern bamboo jointing system, bamboo veneer lathe, bamboo flattening machine, bamboo charcoal and briquettes, and bamboo charcoaling kiln and light distillate recovery.
According to Engr. Grecelda A. Eusebio of FPRDI’s the Technology Business Development Section, "The forum and expo was not only a great opportunity for the Institute to promote its bamboo products and technologies, but it also gave us the chance to meet potential partners and investors during the business-matching sessions.” (Maybell Mariella A.
