The DOST- Forest Products Research and Development Institute (DOST-FPRDI) recently joined the nationwide observance of Women’s month with a number of activities. This year’s theme is “We Make Change Work for Women”.
To kick off the celebration, 45 FPRDI staff joined the “Walk for a Cause” civic parade organized by the Municipal Government of Los Baños last 08 March.
A series of activities led by FPRDI’s Gender and Development Committee were also held:
DOST-wide Women’s Month celebration in Pasay City last 19 March Personality development and image enhancement lecture Nutritional Counseling conducted with UPLB’s Institute of Human Nutrition and Food last 22 March
A training on Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) is also slated on 28-29 March 2019 to provide government agencies and donors with a common set of analytical concepts and tools for integrating gender concerns into development programs and projects. ### (Felipe B.
