Trainings
FPRDI offers training courses designed to improve the productivity of the industry's manpower. These are non-formal, short-term courses and appreciation seminars on FPRDI-generated technologies and information on forest products utilization.
Availment of Training
The training courses presented are offered by the Institute in which case appropriate announcements will be made. Or they may be availed of through a request addressed to:

Course offerings or accommodation of requests are subject to the availability of resource persons and funds.
Training Fee
The training fee for course offerings will be announced. It will be arranged on a cast-to-case basis in other instances. The course fee excludes board and lodging.

Requirements for Admission
The different courses are designed for specific groups of participants and is open to all interested parties.
Training Materials
Syllabi/course modules and handouts are provided to all training participants.
Classified certificates are provided to participants of offered courses.
Training Venue
Unless specified, all trainings are conducted at the Training and Demonstration Center (TDC) of the FPRDI. In-plant or on-site trainings on specific courses can be arranged.
Evaluation
Practical exercises may be given while the course is in progress to assess knowledge and skills gained. A post-training evaluation right after every course is also conducted to assess the effectiveness of resource persons, methods used and other aspects of the training to serve as bases of improving or modifying future trainings.
Feedbacks are gathered from participants at least six months after course completion to assess the training impact.
