TSD staff speak at graders’ science week celebration

Speaking on the “Application of Science in Issues and Problems of Today”, Ms. Amador and Mr. Austria highlighted how various technologies of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) are helping solve some of the country’s most critical problems. These include Project NOAH (Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards); water hyacinth harvester; water hyacinth dryer; ovidical trap system; DOST water filter; fortified baby foods; complementary foods; fortified rice; and coral reef rehabilitation.
