Director Aggangan attends IUFRO meeting

Director Romulo T. Aggangan (first row, second to the left), poses for a class picture with delegates from 52 countries at the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) Directors’ Forum and All Division 9 Conference held 7-11 May 2012 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The forum,” according to Dr. Aggangan, “discussed issues on forest research and education management and provided an excellent platform for the vivid exchange of information and good experiences and practices on research management.”
The conference, on the other hand, gave him insights on the crucial role of the social sciences in forest governance research. It likewise oriented him about the latest global developments in forest policy, governance and participatory management. (Rizalina K. Araral, 07 June 2012) #
