The DOST-Forest Products Research and Development Institute (DOST-FPRDI) recently participated in the 20th Kabisig Philippine Government Expo and Trade Fair held last 26-28 February 2019 in Quezon City.
Aside from its banner programs, the Institute also featured its Furniture Testing Center, Pulp and Paper Testing Laboratory, Plywood Testing Laboratory, and its Wood and Herbarium Identification service.

“Through activities like this, we are able to reach out to more people and show them which of our technologies and services they can avail of,” said DOST-FPRDI Director Romulo T. Aggangan. “We invite those interested in pulp and paper, wood craft and furniture making to check out the Institute’s facilities and other technical assistance it offers,” he added.
With the theme “Kaalaman Tungkol sa Pamahalaan: Katuwang sa Kaunlaran”, Kabisig is a yearly one-stop exhibit that features government agencies’ profiles, service facilities and programs.
