As a member of the maple family, rubberwood has a very little tendency to warp or crack. This, plus its other basic properties, makes it an ideal medium for high-value furniture and other products.”

The FDC judging was held last 9 September 2019 at Palacio del Sur, Zamboanga City in collaboration with the Tambanan Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (TARBEMCO) and DOST-Region IX. ### (Juliemar V. Purificacion & Robert A. Natividad, 18 September 2019)
