In a bid to establish a stronger presence in media and better reach its various clientele, the Department of Science and Technology - Forest Products Research and Development Institute (DOST-FPRDI) recently initiated a technology forum in partnership with the Philippine Information Agency - Quezon (PIA-Quezon).
Dubbed “Kapihansa PIA”, the forum featured the DOST-FPRDI team was composed of For. Felix B. Tamolang, Deputy Director, Dr. Dwight A. Eusebio, Chief of Material Science Division (MSD), Engr. Victor G. Revilleza, OIC of Solid Products Development Section (SPDS) - Technology Innovation Division (TID), and Ms.Grecelda A. Eusebio, Chief of Technology Licensing and Promotion Section (TLPS) - Technical Services Division (TSD).
The team talked about the institute’s current R&D programs onForest Vines, Cinnamons,Abaca Pulp and Paper, Bamboo, and Rubberwoodas well as the institute’s Training, Consultancy, Technical Assistance, Intellectual Property Management and Testing Services among others.(http://www.fprdi.dost.gov.ph/testing-services)
