These remarkable pieces of furniture were created by Niccolo Jose, a Filipino artist who specializes in projects made from recycled Philippine hardwood. He is the owner of Studio 10 10, an art and design company which focuses on one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, large art projects and crafted interiors. He likewise co-owns Green Canyon, the country’s first Eco and Art Resort.

Dr. Erlinda L. Mari , Scientist I, the 2015 Distinguished Achievement Award in Applied Research from the Kapisanang Kimika ng Pilipinas (Chemical Society of the Philippines) - Southern Tagalog Chapter. Handing the award is Dr. Ramon A. Razal, KKP-ST President 2015, with Dr. Mary Ann Torio, KKP-ST Vice President 2015 in ceremonies held at the Boy Scout of the Philippines – International Makiling Hotel, Los Banos, Laguna last November 6, 2015.
Dr. Mari has been with FPRDI for 39 years and is currently leading the R&D Program “Abaca fiber for the pulp and paper industry and allied products development” and the project “Euphorbia tithymaloides: Propagation in mined areas and utilization of the plant’s extract as wood preservative.” (Rizalina K.
