The Forest Products Research and Development Institute (DOST-FPRDI) recently received a Certificate of Recognition from the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) PRIME- HRM. The FPRDI was among the three DOST agencies that received the honor.

PRIME-HRM or the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management aims to recognize agencies that are successful in addressing developmental gaps in their human resource systems, practices and competencies. It hopes to elevate the country’s human resource management standard to a level at par with global HRM standards.

PRIME-HRM recognized FPRDI as Level II (Process-defined Human Resource Management). Agencies with Level II accreditation may enjoy certain privileges such as authority to take final action on appointments. The recognition was based on four core competencies: Recruitment, Selection and Placement; Rewards and Recognition; Performance Management, and Learning and Development.

New Journal out.
